D'miria Collins

I am a Computational Media graduate from Georgia Institute of Technology. Computational Media has allowed me to analyze how people perceive design through computers as well as how to create a design using various software and technology. While I posses a in-depth understanding of coding languages, my passion lies in graphic design and brand development. I enjoy stretching my creativity by teaching basic design concepts to others so that they can appreciate graphic design as well. I also have acquired a minor in Leadership Studies. My minor has enabled me to build a marketing and business management foundation with which I hope to use in the workplace. When I'm not playing with Adobe Suite, I enjoy volunteering with the Decatur Book Festival every year. I'm also volunteering my graphic design skills to AloeKids in Atlanta to advertise their goal to connect underrepresented kids to STEM professionals. During my last semester at Georgia Tech, I will worked with the campus craft center, Paper & Clay to strengthen their marketing and advertising to reach out to more faculty, staff, and students. My free-time is usually spent reading novels, watching animated movies, drawing, or learning something new.
