Demetria Calhoun

I recently received my BA in Sociology from Georgia State University this past fall, finishing at the top of my class with a 3.94 GPA. I have received several accolades while attending GSU, making the Presidents List several semesters as well as receiving no less than an A minus for any class within my major granting me the honor of Distinction in Sociology. In my professional life, I have a work history that includes more than 6 years of customer service experience as well as 4 years of experience with children and adolescents. I pride myself on my strong organizational and interpersonal skills, abilities which have enabled me to have a wealth of experience in collaborating and interacting with people. I enjoy helping others and am passionate about giving back to my community in any way that I can. I am looking for new opportunities in the field of social work and hope to continue my service to the community with an organization dedicated to making the world a better place one step at a time.
