Diego Sanchez

I am a Television-Radio Student at the Ithaca College Roy H. Park School of Communications. Here at Ithaca, I am a Park Scholar pursuing my passion to become a sports broadcaster. I am interested in either play by play (commentator) or in-depth analysis (panelist in the studio, or reporter.) I moved from Venezuela to Miami at the age of 13, where I had to learn the English language alongside my native Spanish one. Besides that, I have played soccer my whole life at the highest possible youth level, where I have won State, Regional and National Championships. I also played one year for Ithaca College, and currently possess a Coaching's License and Referee Degree . As of now, I am the host for "The Directors Chair" at Ithaca College Television, as well as a sports broadcaster for VIC and WICB radio stations. Last year, I worked for Emmy Award Winning Show "Hold That Thought" as a panelist and researcher for Ithaca College Television. In The Summer of 2017 I got hired by NBC Universal to intern as a Production Assistant for Telemundo Deportes, covering worlwide sports to be broadcasted at the network level. I covered events such as the FIFA Confederations Cup, World Cup Qualifiers, The Premier League, Boxing, Nascar and The PGA Tour.
