Gamma Phi Beta

A sorority on The University of Alabama campus whose members inspire the highest type of womanhood through personal development, sisterhood, networking and more. Gamma Phi Beta is the exclusive National Panhellenic Conference National Partner of the nonprofit organization Girls on the Run International. We organize philanthropy events to raise funds for the organization and actively live our philanthropic focus of "Building Strong Girls" through hands-on service and charitable giving.

Teacher Cadets

The University partners with local schools to give those involved in the Teacher Cadet program hands-on teaching experience. I was paired with Tuscaloosa's International School, The Capitol School, and received a teaching internship in an elementary classroom using the Montessori method of education. This internship led to a teaching job in the nursery and toddler rooms at the school.
