Deepthy Melit Thomas

Originally from Kerala, the southernmost state of India. Received most of my education in Kerala before moving to USA. I decided to come to USA accompanying my husband who is a physician in Ohio. He was also a major reason why I opted for biology major in YSU. I have a masters degree in finance from India and was a little scared and excited at the same time to go into a completely different stream. YSU faculty was very accomodative and completely supported me when I discussed about my interests. I had my first snow experience in Youngstown and totally love it. I cook authentic Indian food when I get free time and my hobbies include travelling and exploring National parks.
