Responsible for ensuring environmental and life safety aspects of two acute care hospitals, as well as enhancing emergency management capabilities for the facilities. Participated in multiple Joint Commission surveys, as well as validation surveys at both facilities. Assisted in preparation for various specialty surveys for acute and outpatient services. Collaborated with multiple departments to establish an all-hazards approach to emergency management, and re-established a response team compliant with the OSHA/Joint Commission First Receivers guidance. Managed multiple real-world emergency events, and planned and executed multiple exercises to test and enhance various response plans.
