Elisabeth Wesson

I graduated with honors from Florence High School with a 3.7 GPA.

I took a total of nine advanced placement classes over the course of my junior and senior years, as well as remained enrolled in honors courses my freshman and sophomore years.

I was awarded a gold medal, a silver medal, and a bronze medal for taking the National Latin Exam.

I was a member of the band's danceline all four years of high school. We performed at every football game as well as competed in numerous competitions both in Alabama and surrounding states. My junior and senior year, I was chosen as the captain of the line where I led practices and helped with drill.

I was the vice president of Latin Club, meaning I would help come up with ideas for class field trips as well as organize club meetings and offer ideas to improve the club as a whole and increase enrollment in Latin courses.

The Stardust Club of Florence is a social club with an emphasis on community service. In addition to having various parties and get-togethers throughout the year, Stardust raised thousands of hours of community service. Stardust raised money and donated clothes and toys to St. Jude Children's Hospital, volunteered at our local animal shelter, hosted fundraisers, as well as many others.
