From Chandler, AZ
I recently completed the first year of my Master of Public Health degree, with the intention of pursuing a PhD in Public Health after gaining work experience for a few years. My goal is to identify communities suffering extreme pain as a result of weaknesses in health systems and to collaborate with them to develop sustainable, comprehensive solutions, all while avoiding vertical programs and building system-wide capacity. My current research interests include health systems strengthening, community health and development, complexity theory, food systems, and social network analysis. I aim to ameliorate pain and suffering one community at a time!
