Elizabeth Beer

I just started my junior year in the Interactive Media Studies major at Miami University in Oxford OH. I'm looking to declare a minor in entrepreneurship at the Farmer School of Business, the 8th best business school in the nation. In addition to my interest for both IMS and business, I have a strong passion for community service, and involve myself with Habitat for Humanity on campus, where I hold an executive position as the Webmaster as well as participate in builds. I am also a member of the Kappa Alpha Theta chapter at Miami, a sorority on campus with the purpose of extending a lifetime opportunity for social, intellectual, and moral growth. Through being an active member of the community on campus, I have met more people and immensely expanded my network while learning new things and finding new passions. I am a dreamer that is always trying to find new ways to make an impact on this world. From since I can remember, my number one goal in life has always been to give back. I believe it is our duty as a citizen of this world to make the world a better place. This passion of mine has led me to my interest in social entrepreneurship. Some day I hope to start my own social enterprise and do my part in society. Regardless of what company I work for or where I am in life, I know my entrepreneurial and creative drive will guide me to success.
