- Act as a primary trainer for both juvenile and adult sea lions
- Train sea lions to detect and detain intruding divers from piers, shorelines, and open water
- Work animals in free contact and free release training sessions
- Maintain basic Navy and husbandry behaviors including harnessing, heeling, blood draws, and hydration
- Safely operate RHIB, SeaArk, and Boston Whaler boats
- Scuba dive in pens for maintenance and repair as well as in open water for diver detection sessions
