Emma Boson

Currently, I am a senior studying Marketing with a focus in Professional Sales and Management at the University of Iowa Tippie College of Business graduating in December of 2019. I am a competitive, creative, organized, and optimistic student. During the course of my academic career, I have managed to be involved around campus. I have had the privilege of being the Philanthropy Chair of my sorority, Delta Delta Delta, in which I gained valuable skills such as, advertising, event planning, organization, and leadership. In my professional life, I have worked for two large and well-known organizations where I had the opportunity to grow my professional skills and develop a passion for sales. I have shown I can successfully leverage my skills and apply them to real-world situations. This past summer, I worked for CDW in Chicago, IL as a Sales Intern supporting the Small Business Texas Team. At CDW, I applied my knowledge and passion of sales to work for a Fortune 200 technology company. Throughout this summer, I gained exposure to the technology sales industry. I worked hard to develop my own book of business, communication with customers and set appointments with to break into leads. These tasks have helped me improve my knowledge of sales and the technology industry. I am currently searching for a full time job for post-graduation of December 2019.
