Hello! To quickly describe myself, I am an avid reader, runner, and apple-eater. Math is my favorite subject, and I hope to pursue a major in this area. I'm from Geneseo, IL, and during my time in high school I was a cheerleader, mathlete, and member of NHS, among other things. I am looking forward to expanding my list of activities and groups while at Augustana!

I received an award from the Spanish department for academic achievement, as well as being an Illinois State Scholar and an AP Scholar with honors.

I was awarded with the Bernice King Mathematics Scholarship from my high school. To determine who would win this award, the school combined every students' math grades over their four years and their math score on the ACT into a composite score, and the student with the highest score was given the scholarship.

At my high school, Mathletes go to one competition every year in DeKalb, IL, to compete with other conference schools in various math competitions. We had the smallest team every year, but still managed to win a few awards at each competition.

Work Experience

Administrative Assistant at Miller Farm & Business

Miller Farm & Business is a small, family-run tax and accounting office in my hometown. Here, I help with organization, filing, making calls, mailings, bank statements, and assisting the accountants around the office. In high school, I worked on weekdays and weekends, and now that I am at college I work when I am on break.
