My responsibilities include acting as a technician as well as helping with transfers, customer service, and patient counseling. More hours are available during the summer than in the school year.
This was a school assigned internship that allowed me to work with various individuals to learn about retail pharmacy from a different store setting. My responsibilities included technician roles as well as patient counseling.
My responsibility was to work at one of two local stores and cover for any full time technician needing time off for various reasons. I was also able to work any extra hours that were available at both store location. This provided me with an intense and quick learning environment.
