Hello! My name is Ericka Allen. I am a full time online student at UC pursuing my bachelors degree in elementary education (P-5). I have been intrigued about teaching ever since I was a young girl, and it has developed into a passion. I am passionate about sharing my knowledge with students in hopes of them developing a love for learning, and bettering their education. I enjoy being around children and love providing a happy positive environment for them to learn in, while practicing proper classroom management. I believe when students are prompted with active learning, positive reinforcements, and a caring teacher, then their learning will excel. Besides from teaching I enjoy cooking, baking, gardening, and completing any craft projects. I am also married and have a wonderful husband and family. Overall I feel I have been very blessed, and I am thankful for my life, and try not to take a minute of it for granted!
