Activities

Green Club

The BP Green Club collected Christmas Trees after the holidays and chipped them all to put on the nature trail at the school. We also created a pledge to use only real trees for the holidays. For every person who pledged, a tree was planted. There were over 400 pledges, and over 600 trees were replanted. These challenges were a part of the Lexus Eco Challenge, a nationwide environmental project. Also at BP, the club sold reusable bottles to raise funds for new water filters and water fountains. Erika is now the Co-President of the Green Club.

Masterminds

Broadalbin's Masterminds program is one of the best in the area. In 2015, the program was ranked second in the state, after Bethlehem. Erika Pitcher served as the JV team captain for the 2015-16 year, and is now the Captain of the Varsity Team.

Community Service Club

The Community Service Club was committed to serving the community surrounding the school. The club made cards to send to troops overseas and collected canned goods for local food pantries. The club also helped out around the school, starting numerous fundraisers and hosting other activities to benefit others.
