Assist with the implementation of patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse.

My primary duties included being responsible for providing emergency medical treatment, limited primary care, and health protection and evacuation from a point of injury or illness for soldiers within my unit. Maintained responsibility for training soldiers in basic first aid as well as Combat Lifesaver techniques. Provided medical coverage in a variety of settings such as field training exercises and clinical locations. While deployed I provided emergency medical treatment, limited primary care, force health protection and evacuation in a variety of settings from point of injury or illness through the continuum of military health care; administered emergency and routine medical treatment to battle and non-battle casualties; assisted with outpatient care and treatment under the supervision of a physician's assistant.
