My name is Erin Smith and I am a first year at GCSOM. I went to Bloomsburg University for my undergrad and studied Biology as well as a minor in Chemistry and Aging Studies & Gerontology. During my gap year, I was a research assistant for Geisinger at the Autism and Developmental Medicine Institute (ADMI) and worked on a project called Simons Searchlight. We studied genetic changes that are associated with Autism and developmental delays. I love to exercise n my spare time. I play the guitar and also love to sing. I enjoy travelling and spent 5 weeks travelling Europe in the summer of 2019. I am a dog mom to a golden doodle and am an avid animal lover!
