Ethan Zierke

I completed my bachelor's degree in English at Simpson College in April, 2017, with supplemental studies in multimedia journalism and philosophy. My experience as a contributing writer, writing fellow, and editor of a student literary and visual arts magazine has honed my writing and editing skills and fostered my passion for the arts. I have 2+ years of editing experience. Internships with non-profit organizations in Iowa City have provided me with marketing experience, exposure to local sponsors and organizations, and an appreciation for the tight-knit downtown district business community. With event operations and communications as my focus, I improved my leadership skills and cultivated my creativity. I am currently seeking meaningful full-time employment in communications or a related writing/editing field in the Iowa City area.
