Fahad Iqbal Syed

I'm a graduate student, perusing Ph.D. in Chemical and Petroleum Engineering. My current research interest is to develop a field-based, advanced numerical methodology to optimize Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) opportunities in unconventional reservoirs. After completing his M.S. in Petroleum Engineering from the Petroleum Institute (Khalifa University), UAE, I worked for ADNOC Offshore for around 7 years in different research and operational disciplines as a Petroleum & Reservoir Engineer. I've participated in multiple R&D projects funded by national and multinational organizations and I'm honored with numerous achievement and appreciation awards by the R&D sub-committee and the local office management in the recognition of my innovative research contributions. Most importantly, part of my ground-breaking findings are being applied for the full field re-development of one of the major offshore oil producing reservoir in Abu Dhabi.
