Majoring in Journalism
Georgia State University
From Atlanta, GA
I am currently an undergraduate student at Georgia State University and have an endless passion for national and global affairs. Over the past few years, I have been involved with several internships that have helped me properly understand the world of journalism. I was a news department intern for National Public Radio (NPR) , which helped expose me to the hands on approach of journalism by writing stories, interviewing individuals, researching news topic, and etc. As a writer, over 40 of my articles have been published in which I offer in-depth analysis about the National Basketball Association (NBA), discuss societal issues, human right violations, and pop culture. In todays society, I believe it is extremely vital for every individual to be aware of what occurs in other parts of the globe as the earth continues to become "flatter". My goal is to become a news reporter or anchor so that I can inform individuals the importance of global awareness and how to make a difference even in the smallest form possible.
