Felicia Rinaldi

Miami University , Class of 2018
From Cincinnati, Ohio
I graduated from the University of Cincinnati in April of 2014 with a Bachelor of Science. Though my initial goal was to attend medical school, I realized upon receiving an acceptance that my true passion was in animal welfare and conservation. While I am still amazed by the advances of the healthcare field, I am thrilled to finally be embarking on a career with animals. After all, I have wanted to work with animals since I was in kindergarten. Currently, as an intern at the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden, I am learning an incredible amount about animal care and conservation and am excited to help advance this field.

Interpreter of Wild Encounters and Fun at Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden
I educate visitors about animals throughout the zoo. This includes holding animal ambassadors for people to touch and learn about up close, speaking about animals on a microphone for larger crowds, facilitating giraffe, camel, and other hand feedings, and bringing animals to events such as birthday parties and company gatherings.
