Redirection is a Somerville Public School Program that attempts to identify and support the “At Risk Students” or otherwise indentified students. The Redirect teacher monitors the attendance, tardiness, grades and behavior of students and works closely with students and teachers. The Redirect teacher acts as a liaison between school personnel, outside agencies and parents when appropriate. Home visits may be made and tutoring given when necessary.
