Gabrielle Smiley

Gabrielle Smiley graduated from Creekside High School (Fairburn, GA) with honors in 2021 and was in the top ten percent of her class. She currently attends Georgia Southern University where she is majoring in Public Health (Emphasis on Global Health) with a minor in Child and Family Development while also completing the Pre-medical professional track. Working with children is Gabrielle's passion. She is striving to become a pediatrician in emergency medicine. Gabrielle grew up watching her mom who's a social worker working with children who didn't have access to basic needs; many of those children were sick and couldn't get quality healthcare. Gabrielle also grew up in a rural area with little to no healthcare available in her small town. This has inspired Gabrielle to become an outlet for children living in rural areas who aren't able to obtain healthcare. After completing her Bachelor of Science at Georgia Southern University, Gabrielle plans to pursue an M.D., and follow her dreams of helping children in need.
