Phi Theta Kappa
The Student Veteran Organization, in cooperation with the History and Film Crew Technology Departments and Phi Theta Kappa, completed the Veterans History Project (VHP) on Saturday, November 16, 2019 at the Williamson County Campus in the recording studios in the Sargent Building. The VHP was an opportunity for Veterans to come and tell the story of their service through a recorded interview. The interviews will be archived in the Library of Congress for future Americans to see and hear, as well as for historical research. I volunteered through Phi Theta Kappa for this event. During my time, I was able to write a holiday card to a veteran/active soldier, and then assisted Dr. Flagel in his interview with a veteran. During the interview, my job was to write significant time marks and titles that could be referenced in the video at a later time.
