-- Develop message formats to expose programmable logic controller's private information (Diagnostic and Status data) to the HMI client after performing CRC32 validation
-- Perform protocol conversion by creating a new platform independent interface using C to port messages originally supported by the private Tristation protocol to the public TSAA protocol
-- The functionality of the application is first tested on PC using socket programming for Windows
-- The application is next written to operate on real time controller systems using VxWorks and in the process achieve platform neutrality (works on x86 and ARM Linux processors)
-- As a secondary task, provided assistance to other Firmware developers in testing the builds on IO modules by re-programming the same

Software Development Engineer in the Digital Presence team (Systems, Software and Operations Business Unit) supporting the Cisco-Technical Services for faster resolution of customer incidents. Involved in projects in the Application Layer of the protocol stack and web application security requiring diverse skill sets.

-- Performed BAVA (Base Line Application Vulnerability Assessment) using the Website Traffic Recording tool, IBM Traffic Viewer (Appscan). Identified vulnerabilities in HTTP traffic like Cross site scripting, SQL Injection, DDoS attacks and resolved the same.
-- Contributed to the front end subsystem of Cisco's 'Support Case Manager' in the early stages of its developmental cycle
-- Worked on the Ramp up project, 'Zero Broken Links' which aims to identify broken links on web pages and documents the same. Automated the delivery of the documentation to the key stakeholders (Cisco Internal teams) using Java.
