NEXT Lab Intern at Abilene Christian University

During the summer of my freshman year of college, I worked as an intern at the Nuclear Energy eXperimental Testing Lab in Abilene, Texas. I worked to characterize the pressure drop across filters in molten salt systems through data analysis. I also was responsible for designing and modeling a novel vortex filtration system for a molten salt reactor. Lastly, I also worked on automating certain experimental procedures through system programming.
