Gina Dattolo

Determined, hard-working, and enthusiastic marketing student looking for a challenging career opportunity in professional sales. As a student at the Tippie College of Business, my studies have included marketing, professional sales, and management. A key experience for me was studying abroad in Italy where I completed Kepner-Tregoe Problem Solving and Decision Making and LIFE Leadership training. Kepner-Tregoe taught me how to analyze the problem at hand and come up with what caused the problem, how to fix the problem, and how to prevent it from happening again. LIFE stands for Leadership Initiative for Excellence and it is a three-day intensive leadership training program. I learned a lot about myself and how I affect other people with the decisions I make. As a full-time student, I hold the position of sales manager at Petland Iowa City. My experience working in sales has made me passionate to learn about new products and build relationships with consumers to find which products will help them best. Since I have been apart of the management team, we have achieved a 40% growth in sales. My education and experiences will aid me to be a driven contributor to your sales team.
