I have been taking piano lessons since first grade and flute lessons since fourth grade. Music has always been a huge part of my life. It continues to be the home to which I can always find myself returning. Whether I am the most talented player in the room or not, I find great confidence in knowing how much I love what I do. Being the best player I can be is what is most important to me. The only competition is against the musician I was yesterday.
