I was just recently inducted into this engineer honor society. I have participated in their MindSet program where you go to a nearby middle school and teach the students STEM topics. I even made my own Module which taught the middle schoolers basic circuit construction with breadboards.

Rock Climbing
I really got into rock climbing at the start of college and have loved it ever since. I've organized multiple trips to outdoor climbing locations. There's nothing more fun than playing some classic rock, sitting with your friends, and working out a difficult boulder problem.

I have participate in a couple of trips including one where we camped on an island in Lake George. I'm most active at the climbing wall associated with the Outing Club. I have helped set routes for two competitions.

Specialty Engineering Intern at UTC Aerospace Systems
I made software tools on microsoft excel (using Visual Basic for Applications) to sift through large amounts of data, and refine it to more concise lists. This process was intended to be done by hand, but I applied my prior programming experience to streamline the processes drastically. I also wrote a Visual Basic for Applications starter guide because a few of the employees were impressed with how much of a difference excel macros made.

National Trail Crew at Student Conservation Association
I worked on a trail crew for the summer of 2015 in Great Smoky Mountains National Park. We revived 5 miles of stock trail that was eroded.

The summer of 2013, I worked on a trail crew in Hopewell Furnace National Historic Site. There we cleared vegetation to make the views even more spectacular. Also we worked on some invasive plant removal and cleaning a historic building of vegetation.
