Over the course of my senior year, I have been serving on staff with a State Representative, who is running for the first congressional seat in South Carolina. I was entrusted with additional responsibilities that have been beneficial to the campaign. My duties include managing and scheduling interns/volunteers on a daily basis, organizing phone banks, cold calling perspective donors/voters, in person cold calling, briefing the candidate prior to press conferences, planning and organizing events, as well as assisting with social media and digital marketing. Some highlights of my internship are surpassing multiple quarterly fundraising goals, becoming an administrator for the campaigns Facebook page, and lastly having the opportunity to introduce the candidate on stage in front of several hundreds of people at an event hosted on the U.S.S. Yorktown in Charleston, South Carolina.
