Private Hockey Instructor at Goggin Ice Center

I provide private on-ice individual hockey lessons to youth players at Goggin Ice Center. This involves establishing individualized drills and focusing on specific skills for each player. It is my priority to establish myself as a respectable role model to the youth that I work with. In order to establish productive drills I attend games and practices of my players for a chance to observe them in action, and in turn push them to be not only successful skaters and players of the game, but also quality teammates who are interested in growing their knowledge and understanding of the game.

Referee, Scorekeeper, & Supervisor at Goggin Ice Center Intramural Department

Intramural referee and scorekeeper for broomball and ice hockey games during the Miami University fall and spring semesters. Supervisor of intramural activities at Goggin Ice Center, includes overseeing broomball and ice hockey competitions, as well as maintaining updated statistics of leagues. Certified in First Aid and CPR, responsible for handling injuries and/or altercations that go on during intramural events.

Skating Coach at Columbus Parks & Recreation

Keeping track of statistics of anywhere between 50 and 200 kids (specifically race, gender, and age, along with hockey/skating specific questions). Run street clinics teaching fundamentals of hockey to children in recreation centers across Columbus between the ages of 5 and 18. Teach and direct large skating clinics, ensuring safety to fellow team members in addition to children and guides attending.
