Gwendolyn Shillcock

I am full-time student at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, Class of 2018. As of now, I am a University Studies Major because I am not sure what I would like to major in yet. I also have a part-time job in Oxford at Palm Beach Tan. I have an interest in the medical field and am thinking about going pre-med. In high school, I took a 3 year biomedical course that gave me experience in this field. From this program I received a Career Passport from the Great Oaks at graduation, which outlines the many lab skills I gained from this program and includes a Certificate of Career-Technical Preparation for Project Lead The Way. My peers know me as a conscientious, hardworking student who can always be depended on to get the job done right. I am eager to explore the many different career fields I can choose to enter, so I attend many informational meetings on campus about different careers. In addition, I enjoy connecting with other students and learning about their chosen majors. I have always been interested in meeting new people.
