I am a current Nursing major, dance minor at Belmont University where I am an active member of Kappa Alpha Theta, Alpha Chi National Honor Society and Bruin Recruiters. I intend to work within pediatrics after graduation and pursue a higher medical degree post graduation. In Nashville, I attend Ethos Church and have served as a YMCA literacy tutor with the public school system of Davidson County. I have previously served as Scholarship Director for my sorority and now act as the current Philanthropy Director for 2017.

DEU Program, 9N Step Down ICU at Vanderbilt Medical Center

In this learning environment, I was paired individually with a nurse on the floor in which I cared for each of our patients. Through this learning capacity I was able to gain hands on experience in the first clinical of this set up for the Middle Tennessee area.

Medical Assistant of the Infirmary at YMCA Camp High Harbour

This is my fourth year serving at this Christian summer camp in which I work with campers and staff daily. In previous summers I have lived in the cabins with young campers and taught daily skills. This summer, I will work in the infirmary and shadow the medical staff while also completing necessary medical paperwork and parent communication throughout the entire summer.
