Hannah Schryer was recognized for earning a scholarship

The Horizon scholarship is designed to encourage adult students who are returning to college to select Troy University. As an incentive to enroll with Troy, undergraduate students with a GPA of 2.5 will be offered one free course in their first term if they enroll in at least two courses, and one free course in their final term as they prepare to complete their degree. Up to 200 new Horizon Scholarships will be awarded each year. Adult students may use this scholarship at any of the Alabama campuses or online, with the exception of the Troy Campus. This scholarship is limited to first time enrollees
