SAAC is a senate-structured committee where student representatives are selected by the sport teams. SAAC is responsible for advancing initiatives of the CHAMPS/Life Skills Program. The Committee works closely with advisers, the associate director of athletics, and the community outreach coordinator for athletics to plan and implement yearly initiatives to achieve the departmental goal to demonstrate excellence in the classroom, the field of play, and in the community.
