Identify available campus and community resources and build connections and partnerships with them.
Create and plan opportunities for Mount St. Joseph University to make changes, spread awareness, and accommodate students on and off campus with their various barriers.
Provide organizational development to the Corporate Work Study Program department by developing and creating training topics, tracking students attendance, and implementing processes and procedures for the program.
Create a Volunteer Program Handbook and associated documents.
Organize a Bethany House Services Collection by reaching out to companies and other organizations with a cover letter and list of items needed.
Facilitate the social, academic, and personal adjustment of students to the residence hall and University by planning, creating, and advertising events and bonding experiences in the residence hall.
Enforce the rules and policies of Residence Life and the University by posting advertisements and consistently reminding students of policies to keep residents safe.
Assist staff in activities for participants that address barriers to work and increase self-sufficiency by leading computer, vocational, and educational training classes.
Develop and provide weekly wellness and/or creative expression activities to increase self-advocacy and self-empowerment.
Aid in clerical documentation, procedures, and record keeping to increase workplace efficiency and organization.
Establish and enforce rules for behavior, and procedures for maintaining order.
Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students' varying needs and interests.
Organize and lead activities designed to promote physical, mental and social development, such as games, arts and crafts, music, storytelling, and field trips.
Teach and coach job search and networking techniques, interviewing skills, and attitudes while providing support, encouragement and feedback to make career development and job acquisition more successful.
Organized various events in addition to assisting the staffing specialist and other co-workers in their various duties to create a more efficient and coherent work environment.
Call consumers on behalf of clients to inquire about their experiences and identify opportunities to improve interactions with their various healthcare professionals.
