Educational Technology Fellowship
In the Fall, I assisted in teaching STEM to K-Grade 5 at Allendale Columbia during the Fall. For the Spring semester I am currently co-teaching and developing a new course in the Middle School called "Innovation and Design: Entrepreneurship." I have had the opportunity to judge a Robotics Competiion, film and edit this years TEDxAllendaleColumbiaSchool event, and attend an EdTech conference due to connections that I have made at the school.

L.I.V.E.S. Dance Club
Each week I led “Dance Club” for students in the L.I.V.E.S. program once or twice per week during this semester. We did across the room warm-ups and group stretches each session and the students bonded while learning together; they laughed as they came out of their comfort zones. All students expressed what they wanted me to incorporate into the dance. They did phenomenal learning the routine and performing it in front of the audience at the final show!

Alternative Spring Break: Mississippi River Cleanup
During Spring Break, I went with the Outdoor Club to Tennessee to help with the Mississippi River Cleanup. Just as it sounds, we cleaned up garbage around the river every day with an organization called "Living Lands and Waters," We "couchsurfed" as a group for one night on the drive down and drive back. Great new experiences!

EcoHouse Student Hall Council at SUNY Geneseo
As Fundraising Coordinator, I worked closely with the Council President, VP, and Treasurer. We organized all of our events together and split up volunteers to brainstorm and help each meeting. I organized the "Bottle and Can" drive, which helped us raise the most money for the Council. I also worked as part of the team to prepare for and host events such as "Walk for Water."

Circle K International
Although I did not have many times that I could work with Circle K, the times that I could were incredible. I began by helping with "Rebuild the Wall," which is a project focused on rebuilding history via the long, stone wall that runs through Geneseo. The most rewarding experiences that I had involved advocacy for abused women. I participated in the ABW Annual Phon-a-thon (via another club) and helped clean one of the safe houses that women and their children were living in temporarily.

L.I.V.E.S. Program Tutor
As a tutor for the L.I.V.E.S. Program at SUNY Geneseo, I tutored students with disabilities that were enrolled in the program. The program is through BOCES and helps students with disabilities transition from high school to college or living independently. I assisted with math, reading, writing, comprehension, and daily living skills. I acted as a mentor to students as well through talking about my own college experience.

Literacy Strategies Training at SUNY Geneseo
This optional program was offered at the Village of Geneseo Public Library. A retired school teacher taught us several literacy strategies that we could use for tutoring children. We were supposed to have children coming in for several weeks for tutoring but that fell through. Regardless, it was a wonderful experience.
