Hi my name is Heather Finkelstein and I am from Long Island, New York. I am currently a Senior at the University of Delaware. I am an elementary education major with a concentration in special education. I also have a minor in Disability Studies. Back in New York, I used to student teach second and third graders at my Hebrew School. I would help teach them how to write and read in Hebrew as well as discuss our cultural background. Over the summer, I am a Camp Counselor/ Group Leader for kindergarten/first grade girls at Twin Oaks Day Camp. I am hoping to finish school, get my masters and start teaching first grade.
