(1) Website Single Sign On (SSO) use Personal Identity Verification (PIV) Card (COMPLETED) Creating the design and architecture for website SSO using PIV card . The architecture includes authentication, Online Certificate Status Protocol (ocsp) based certificate validation; and authorization, policy based. It uses ForgeRock OpenAM V12 for authentication and authorization decisions, OpenDJ V2.6 for directory (LDAP) services and user profile information. It is deployed on Tomcat V7 application server and Apache HTTP server V2.4.9. (2) Standalone Python program Sign On use PIV card (COMPLETED) Design and develop PIV card authentication (with real time ocsp validation) for a standalone python program. (3) Customizing EMEN2 for researchers a NCTR (COMPLETED) EMEN2 is an open-source imaging database and electronic lab notebook which was developed at Baylor College of Medicine. NCTR NanoCore Facility wants to use EMEN2 to enhance their supports for scientific researchers. I have been customizing EMEN2 to meet the requirements from facility stuffs, including adding security layers for the database, templates of protocols, worksheets. (4) Oracle APEX application development for DASH (COMPLETED) The CDER DASH application is based on a Microsoft Access database which has become slow and unreliable as the number of users and volume of data have increased. The goal of this project is to rewrite the application to run on a faster, more robust platform while maintaining the functionality and general appearance of the current system. (5) Information Retrieval from New Drug Approval Letter The current phase of the program is retrieving information from PDF file using sophisticated regular expression in Java/Python. (6) In-house application development, Error Correction. The program was developed to support fixing data errors occurred during data collection step for animal support personnel at NCTR. It is developed using Apex 5.0. (7) NGS analysis and Image analysis on Hadoop
