University Assistant-Office of National Scholarships and Fellowships at Georgia State Honors College

 Assist with the preparation and execution of national scholarship events in the Honors College. These events include, but are not limited to: Lunch & Learns, Going Global gatherings, and Fulbright Fridays.  Help raise campus-wide awareness of Fulbright opportunities by tabling at the Study Abroad Fair and preparing information for campus visits to classes, clubs and dormitories.  Assist in researching and updating award databases, undergraduate conference lists and undergraduate journal submission deadlines.  Assist in research and preparation of discipline-specific scholarship road maps.  Research best practices in personal statement writing and interview preparation and, potentially, participate in designing and delivering workshops.  Assist in surveying national scholarship applicants about their experience and perceived outcomes.
