Newspaper
I've written for our newspaper, the Commonwealth Chronicle, and I've also helped format the paper. The article I wrote was on the highly-controversial no-headphones policy at Commonwealth, and it went over surprisingly well for its challenging a major rule. I plan on writing more for the Chronicle in the future.

GSA
I attend GSA meetings regularly this year and am an active participant in discussions. I also set up the GSA mailing list/Google Group, which has helped us keep interested parties in the loop even if they have other engagements during our usual meeting period.

Dance
There really isn't any leadership role in dance; we don't really have a dance captain, but senior Sara Curtis and I take most of the leadership roles this year. This year, I claimed the responsibility of teaching the new freshmen the route to our studio, and I also signed the anti-hazing form in Sara's stead as she was college visiting that day.

Volunteer (part of Commonwealth Project Week) at Our Place Daycare
Okay, so this one is sort of hard to explain in terms of how this site operates because my volunteering at Our Place only lasted a week, and the Week of Snowmageddon at that, as it was part of Commonwealth's yearly Project Week program. I did my sophomore year project at Our Place, a Salvation Army daycare for the homeless, and basically was a TA in the preschool room — reading to and playing with the kids and helping with cleanup etc.
