Jacob Ruud

Hi, I'm Jacob. I'm an energetic and passionate college student working towards a BS in Computing Security at the Rochester Institute of Technology. I'm aiming to use my hands-on education at an educational internship that will provide me with fundamental concepts and work experience. After completing my first semester of coursework in Computing Security, some of the things that really caught my attention were business continuity, penetration testing, and network security. I'd love to use my extra time in the summer at an internship to further my knowledge and skills in these fields. Outside of classes and coursework, I am a state champion tennis player(I played 1 doubles on the 2017 state championship team, the first my school had seen in 40 years), professional race car driver, and black diamond snowboarder. I also enjoy playing video games with my friends and working on my car.
