As a Tail Sawyer, I was responsible for sending cut lumber form the head sawyer to different parts of the sawmill to be re-cut into lumber for sales. As a Boiler Operator Assistant, I was responsible for assisting the boiler operator with routine maintenance, cleaning, and operations of the boilers that provided steam for the lumber being dried in the kilns.
As an M-1 Abrams Tank Crewman, I was responsible for maintaining and performing individual tasks on the tank that included driving the tank, loading and operating main gun armament and machine guns, stowing gear and ammunition, maintaining radio equipment, and using other technology that was on board the tank.
