Jazmine Hanna was born and raised in Nassau, Bahamas. She is currently a senior student at East Central University pursuing a bachelor's degree of science in Mass Communication, with a concentration in Mass Media. As a Mass Communication student, she has gained expertise in different fields such as advertising, audio production, broadcasting, film making and journalism. Some of her best work includes an investigative documentary on body shaming in the media and a research paper on the benefits and setbacks of the modesty movement. Upon completion of her undergraduate studies, Jazmine plans to obtain her master's degree in International Studies with a concentration in Security Policy. Her lifelong goal is to work for UN Women, the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and Empowerment of Women.
