Formulate internal procedures and guidelines for department activities, including the business of the department, such as academic administration.
Review and coordinate submission of investigative reports and related communications and materials to appropriate University officials and relevant parties and ensure all follow-up notifications are appropriately drafted and distributed.
Serve as the offices primary fiscal administrator including developing and preparing financial reports for general appropriations. Undertake general financial reporting to ensure budgetary control and responsible fiscal oversight on an ongoing basis.
Aid in the preparation of reports, presentations, and strategic materials for the office, including training, education materials, information materials, standard communications and templates, annual and other reports, as well as assist with the preparation of University responses to complaints and request for information from U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Office for Civil Rights of the U.S. Department of Education, and Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs of the Department of Labor.
Develop, maintain, and update departments website.
Coordinate and participate in a variety of human resources activities including recruitment, employee relations, and answering HR process questions.
Assist the agency or State government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor as needed.
