Jesse Peplinski

I take on challenges with confidence through writing great code, and I believe there is no task too difficult for a team that works together. In order to solve complex problems, I always ensure to carefully plan and coordinate the proper course of action with my team. I utilize the collaborative process in all my projects, and I love seeing people come together. Its the best part for me when everyone brings something different to the table - and then we take the proper steps needed to have a successful, complete, and fun project. I am currently pursuing a B.S. in Computer Science at SUNY Potsdam. I am an active member of the Association for Computing Machinery Chapter. This year, we are hoping to bridge the gap in communication between neighboring colleges by coordinating our events and working on projects together. I am also a participant in the CS-Leap scholarship program which was awarded to a select group of transfer students who demonstrated academic excellence and financial need. I have an A.S. in Computer Science with a minor in Internet and Web Design from Onondaga Community College. One of my greatest accomplishments at this college is when I received the Curriculum Honors Award in 2015 for outstanding academic accomplishment and overall growth as a student. Over the summer of 2015, I was a Front-End Web Developer Intern at Kishmish, which is an IT firm in Syracuse where I was a Content Specialist and general support for the team. I helped to develop websites with HTML, CSS, and PHP using the Wordpress CMS for a variety of clients. Im always looking for new problems to take on, so if you are interested in an aspiring student, I am actively seeking internships for the summer of 2016.
