Responsibilities include working in large groups (workshops), as well as independently (open studio). Greeting, and assisting customers. Maintaining a clean and productive atmosphere to cultivate creativity and focus.
I am responsible for maintaining, updating, and improving their website (blackthornhill.org). As well as marketing and advertising the nature preserve in various ways. In addition to this, I assist in clearings (fire, and solarization), removing invasive species, working with and applying herbicides, capturing and posting photos on all forms of media, identifying insects, attending board meetings, and providing educational opportunities for the community as a whole.
Elicited gifts via phone, and email from alumni, and current patronage.
Sales Associate, high volume customer service, food preparation, opening and closing duties, as well as cleaning.
Preparing for concerts (arranging stage), performing weekly concerts from May-August each year.
Providing a clean, stable, and socialized environment for animals within the shelter. Assisting in exercise alongside both cats and dogs, as well as maintaining the property.
