Julia Fellmeth

Majoring in Theology And Philosophy
DeSales University, Class of 2025
From Warrington, PA
Well, the basic info about me is that I love to read, write when I have time, play video games (i.e. The Legend of Zelda or Skyrim), draw, and play with my sassy corgi pup. What some may not know about me is that I altar served for 9 years (college made me stop), I am a small fan of (specific) anime, I am tend to hyper focus on school work, and I actually have a loud and extroverted side (not just the quiet part one sees everyday). I will try to keep this page as up-to-date as I can, so if you care to see what papers I have been writing please take a look. That's all I got. Come talk to me if you'd like to know more. (:

Works of Mercy
This club consists of two parts; learning and living out the works of mercy. The Works of Mercy are actions we can perform that extend Gods compassion and mercy to those in need as rooted in Sacred Scripture and Tradition. On the one end, there are going to be speakers, videos, and group discussions centered around the Works of Mercy and their application in the world. In terms of service, there shall be opportunities to live out the works of mercy in our university community and beyond such as volunteering at food banks, writing cards for the sick, and joining together in practicing virtue.

Kitchen Employee at Wegmans

I have been assigned to the Wegmans' kitchen staff in the Marche, where we make sandwiches, salads, and the catering orders that come in. As a trainee, I am learning to make the sandwiches on my own and I am able to make the salads on my own. I have also been trained to use a scan gun to shop for food items we need, use a device to take the temperatures of food in the refrigerated cases, and how to prepare for the next day's needs.

Cares Aid at Saint Joseph Saint Robert School

Alongside the woman who helps run this program, I come when the school day is over (around 3pm) to help take care of a handful of children who are unable to go home (i.e. too young to take the bus or too young to be home alone). We have snack and play while we wait for the kids' parents to pick them up.

Cashier and Floater at Wegmans

I am generally a cashier both on the normal register or the alcohol-permitted lanes. However, I have often been sent to other departments to assist as needed. These other departments include dairy, frozen, grocery, deli, seafood, kitchen, produce, bakery, and bread bakery. Additionally, I have been a runner for InstaCart, though on a much less frequent basis. The majority of the time, however, I am at the register.
