As I was growing up, I watched several of my relatives get laid off, down sized or just plain fired from jobs because "efficiency experts" advised their companies that workforce reduction was the way to achieve more profits. Hindsight is 20/20; looking back, American companies see that workforce reduction is usually not the right answer. If anything, reducing workforce personnel actually takes away from a company's collective knowledge and skill base; thus taking away from revenues which reduces a company's profit margin. So, the Efficiency Experts of the 1980's created short term profit boosts, collected their commission checks, and watched as many of their clients collapsed. My passion for Business Efficiency and Operations Research Analysis stems from these memories. I adhere to my dream to never have to watch a company unnecessarily downsize its employees, even though sometimes a single position (not employee) may need to be removed. I do not call myself an efficiency expert. I am an Engineer, an Operations Research Analyst to be precise, and I refer to myself as the Envoy of Efficiency. My primary experience is in Analytics, IT infrastructure and Project Management. I develop Apps and software as needed to support or automate recurring processes. I have a great deal of experience in Knowledge Engineering for Expert Systems. I have worked in QA roles for IT. I program on iOS and Android mobile platforms. I also program for Linux (Java), Raspberry Pi (Java) and Windows (Delphi) desktop platforms. Most important of all... I make some great cheesecakes.

Executive Director at MADCAT INFORMATION SERVICES CORPORATION
After realizing my long term vision of creating a world of efficient company leaders could not be created within my former company (J.G. Pierce & Associates, Inc.), the decision was made to dissolve the company and to begin anew. Madcat Information Services Corporation, MISC for short, is designed to function more as an instructional media company and less as a consulting firm. With the formation of the new company, new talent has been added to the board of directors. The remaining two board members each possess more than fifteen years in management and twenty years in information services. Even though we are still in the set-up phase , any Instructional Media a company may need in the near future can simply be filed under MISC.

Coordinator at Southern Cable Systems
With 19 years of telecommunications and systems engineering experience under my belt I began at SCS as an IT installer. Within three months I became a IT trainer where I shared my vast experience with rookies. After three years I became the Central Alabama Area Manager for one of my company's clients. I now focus primarily on Business IT solutions for a SCS Client. Among my most distinguished accomplishments is the creation of the BBT-TS app, which is a robust Expert System designed for mobile devices to give a rookie IT technician advanced troubleshooting skills. The iOS version is currently being updated.
