Joel Caschette, MD MBA CPE

Dr. Joel Caschette is a board certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine and a Certified Physician Executive. As of June 2023, he is the Florida Chief Medical Officer for Medicare and Retirement at United Healthcare. He is also a 2021 MBA graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Amherst- Isenberg School of Management with a 4.0 GPA. A graduate of Duke Univeristy and New York Medical College, Dr. Caschette lives in Southwest Florida. His interests include languages- he has studied Russian, German, French and Japanese. He was a applicant in 2009 to the NASA Astronaut Program. Dr. Caschette is a martial artist with black belts in 2 different arts, FAA certified private pilot, PADI open water SCUBA certified, and has been a medical advisor for a wilderness survival institute, having completed survival training courses.
